Ludmila de Weever is Second Vice-Chair of Sint Maarten’s Parliament and former Minister of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transportation and Telecommunication. Her leadership spans financial oversight, economic development, and sustainable investment. She helped guide Sint Maarten’s tourism recovery and Caribbean cruising revival while advancing maritime economic opportunities. A lifelong mariner and boat captain, she understands the connection between healthy ecosystems, community livelihoods, and economic resilience. Her international finance experience includes work in London and at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
