Fatma Ali Al-Khater is a Qatari entrepreneur, investor-advocate and ecosystem builder who works where enterprise, capital and sustainable growth meet. She is the Founder of Torba Market, Qatar’s pioneering community market for local, organic and sustainable living. Under her leadership, Torba has grown into a platform that empowers local entrepreneurs, small producers and home-grown brands, and it has made her a leading voice for sustainability and wellness in Qatar.

Building on her experience as a founder, Fatma helped establish the Qatar Venture Capital Association (QVCA), where she serves as a Founding Board Member. At QVCA she works to strengthen Qatar’s venture and private capital ecosystem by connecting founders, investors and institutions, widening access to deal flow and investment knowledge, and encouraging more local capital to back innovative, high-growth enterprises.

Fatma is also a Senior Advisor to the Alta Semper Health Fund, where she supports investment in healthcare. In that role she brings together her commitment to wellness and her focus on putting capital to work for long-term social and economic impact.

Her path from entrepreneur to ecosystem builder and investment advisor is the shift this panel explores: women moving from creating wealth to shaping where capital goes. Fatma is especially committed to channelling investment towards sustainable, healthcare and community-rooted businesses, and to building the networks that help more women in the Gulf become active investors.
