Ms. Besan Engle

Besan Dahboor Engel is a German entrepreneur, intercontinental business leader, and analog astronaut with over a decade of experience connecting global investment, deep-tech innovation, and the development of future economies across four continents, particularly in artificial intelligence, space, climate technologies, and sustainable infrastructure. She brings over a decade of experience in sustainability, deep-tech innovation, artificial intelligence, and the space sector, having coordinated and facilitated investment opportunities ranging from USD 100 million to multibillion-dollar scale across MENA, Europe, and Southeast Asia, connecting international capital, institutional stakeholders, and emerging industries to advance the development of future economies. As Founder and CEO of ReVora, she leads the development of AI-powered Space-to-Earth infrastructure, integrating intelligent systems across food, water, energy, and autonomous operations. Her work also encompasses strategic initiatives and institutional collaboration advancing emerging industries, investment opportunities, and economic diversification in the Middle East. Throughout her career, she has held international leadership positions in investment development and emerging technologies, evaluated over 100 deep-tech ventures, and contributed to scaling technology-driven enterprises across the European innovation ecosystem. As an analog astronaut and Crew Commander of a Mars analog mission, she brings operational leadership experience from simulated space environments to frontier technology development. She completed her studies at Cardiff Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom and was selected as a DAAD scholar, pursuing studies at Ruhr University Bochum in Germany and the University of the Western Cape in South Africa. She also undertook a MicroMasters programme in Technology and Innovation Management at RWTH Aachen University.
