Mr. Vikas Aggarwal

As the Director for Government and Regulatory Affairs at CDP, Vikas is responsible for leading our engagement with Ministers, parliamentarians, and regulators across our global footprint to support the development of the sustainability disclosure ecosystem.

Prior to joining CDP, Vikas worked at a global professional accountancy body, leading their public affairs engagement across Europe, Eurasia, the Middle East and the Americas.

He has almost 20 years experience bringing together governments and businesses on issues such as sustainability, technology adoption, skills, corporate governance, and financial inclusion.

Vikas spent over a decade working for the UK Government across defence and national security, industrial strategy, international trade, foreign policy, and he left the government after a period of time as a UK diplomat based overseas.  

Vikas is a Board Apprentice on the Polar Capital Global Financials Investment Trust.
