Mr. Salaal Hasan

Salaal Hasan is the Founder and CEO of Ahya, a climate technology company developing AI powered software to help organizations accelerate their net zero transition. Through its flagship platforms, AhyaOS, an AI powered greenhouse gas management and accounting platform, and Tawazun, an AI enabled voluntary carbon marketplace, Ahya provides businesses with the tools to measure emissions, manage carbon credits, and make data driven sustainability decisions. Under Salaal's leadership, Ahya received the UN ITU AI for Good Climate Action Innovation Award at COP30 and was recognized as the Sustainability Leader of the Year by Entrepreneur Middle East in 2025.

Before founding Ahya, Salaal spent more than 12 years in finance, venture capital, and technology, holding leadership roles at the World Bank, Dubai International Capital, and JS Group. He has served on the boards of several technology companies and chaired committees focused on audit, governance, and digital transformation. Salaal studied chemical engineering and conducted research on carbon capture and the conversion of carbon dioxide into graphene, combining his technical background with extensive experience in investment and innovation.
