Mr. Jason Choi

Mr. Jason Choi graduated from Queen Mary University of London in 2021. He is a Director of Sunwah Group, President of the GBA and Southwest Region, and Vice Chairman of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance. He is also a Member of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), an Executive Committee Member of the Guangdong Federation of Industry and Commerce, Vice Chairman of the Guangdong Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment, Executive Vice Chairman of the Qianhai Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce, Council Member of the Macao Choi’s Education and Culture Foundation, and Council Member of the Sichuan Overseas Friendship Association. His diverse professional and public appointments reflect his extensive experience and active engagement in business and community affairs. As a young entrepreneur from Hong Kong, Mr. Choi has actively supported national development priorities, encouraging young people from Hong Kong and Macao to participate in the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Central China. He has been particularly committed to strengthening their understanding of and connection with Sichuan. With strong government support, he spearheaded the planning and establishment of the Sunwah Hong Kong-Macao International Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre in Nansha. The Centre provides young people from Hong Kong, Macao and overseas with a supportive environment for innovation and entrepreneurship in mainland China, together with a platform for business services, networking and exchange. In addition to his business activities, Mr. Choi has been actively involved in promoting education through the Choi's Education and Culture Foundation. He has supported the Foundation's educational initiatives, including the establishment of secondary and primary schools, kindergartens, evening schools, vocational and technical education programmes, and continuing education opportunities in Macao. These initiatives also include the establishment of an overseas Chinese secondary school in Zhongshan and donating funds to Jinan University for the construction of the Choi Koon Shum Museum. Mr. Choi has also made sustained efforts to promote international cooperation and create opportunities for technology and innovation enterprises in the Greater Bay Area. In his capacity as Vice Chairman of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, he has played a leading role in organising numerous events, including the China Japan Entrepreneurs Summits in 2022 and 2024, the China-France Entrepreneurs Summit in 2021, and the Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Awards. Through these initiatives, he has helped establish connections with government bodies, universities and business organisations across various Asian countries and regions. His efforts have enabled Greater Bay Area enterprises and entrepreneurs to explore new overseas markets, access international networks and resources, and strengthen cross-border investment and business cooperation. He remains committed to supporting young entrepreneurs and fostering innovation, entrepreneurship and international collaboration.
