Dr. Laila Diab Shrair

Dr. Laila Diab Shrair  is currently an Industrial Studies Advisor at Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC). previously, she was a Strategic Planning ConsultantGeneral Office at GOIC (2009 – 2020). Dr. Laila has played a major role in developing industrial strategies for some GCC countries. For example, UAE industrial strategy, Reginal Export industrial strategy, The assessment for the unified industrial strategy, and knowledge-based industry. Currently she works as a Project Manager for Industrial Labor force polices studies and Incentives offered to the industrial sector. Prior to joining GOIC, she worked at the General Secretariat of Development Planning as a Social and Health Planning Consultant (2000 - 2009). During her time there, she Participated in numerous projects such as the Labor Market Strategy in the State of Qatar, Social Policy, Knowledge-based Economy. Also, Dr. Laila was a member of the core team which wrote Qatar National Vision 2030, and GOIC's representative in the Economic Diversification Working Group of Qatar National Vision 2030.
