Saumya has been a social entrepreneur in India for the past 10 years. Saumya is one of the co-founders of Kheyti, an agritech nonprofit helping smallholder farmers in India become climate-resilient through protected farming. She currently leads Program Design and has won various awards such as the CommonBond Social Impact Award, Kellogg Social Entrepreneurship Award and MassChallenge Award for her work. She is also a Zell Fellow, an Ashoka Emerging Innovator and was selected as a Forbes 30 Under 30 Social Entrepreneur.
Prior to Kheyti, Saumya spent 3 years in the vocational training sector in India. Saumya has done her undergrad from Delhi University and has an M.B.A. from Kellogg School of Management.
