Ms. Judy Semple-Joseph

Ms. Judy Joseph is a seasoned leader in strategic management consulting and community development in Guyana. As Director of EMPRETEC Guyana, she successfully transitioned the organization from a donor-funded project into a self-sustaining non-profit.  Leveraging over 36 years of cross-sector experience across the public, private, and NGO sectors, she specializes in SME development and entrepreneurial capacity building. As a Certified National Trainer and Business Coach, she designs tailored training initiatives for early-stage startups and provides strategic coaching to help growth-oriented enterprises scale.

A key contributor to Guyana’s financial infrastructure, Ms. Joseph played a pivotal role in establishing the country's credit reporting system to expand credit access for individuals and SMEs. Alongside her corporate work, she is a dedicated civic leader and Director within the Rotary Club of Georgetown Central, where she previously served as President, Service Projects Director, and Learning Facilitator.
