Mr. Wailly Wellington Lewis

Mr. Wailly Wellington Lewis joined the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM) of the Dominican Republic in February 2026 and currently serves as National Director of Entrepreneurship. He is also Technical Secretary of the National Entrepreneurship Network, which brings together government, the private sector, academia and support organizations to expand entrepreneurs' access to training, markets, finance and mentoring.

Previously, he served as Deputy Director General for Social Protection and Operations at Supérate (2020-2026). He represented the Dominican Republic at the UN Ministerial Forum in New York and delivered the country's statement at the UN Second World Summit for Social Development in Doha (2025). He has also taken part in international capacity-building programs, including a seminar organized by China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) in Fuzhou (2025) and executive training in strategic leadership and public governance at the Civil Service College Singapore.

An educational entrepreneur, he is Founder and President of the Wellington Lewis Educational Center (WELEEC). He holds a Master's in Senior Public Management (PUCMM-INSP France).
