Suranga Liyanapathirana is a Deputy Director at the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA), heading both the Standards Quality Assurance (SQA) division and the Tourism Investment Relations Unit (IRU). An MBA graduate, he plays a key role in driving high hospitality standards and facilitating strategic tourism investments across Sri Lanka. Suranga also serves as a Board Member of the Southern Province Tourism Bureau and Secretary to the Hotels Classification Committee, leveraging his expertise to champion sustainable development and position Sri Lanka as a premier international investment destination.
