Mr. Roland Falade Fatokounbo

An economist and management specialist with a passion for entrepreneurship, he has spent the last twenty years supporting businesses as a business advisor at the Centre for the Promotion and Support of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Benin (CePEPE).

Deeply committed to promoting private enterprise with the aim of fostering a  more high-performing private sector to drive economic growth, he has served as Director General of the CePEPE for the past two years, a role earned through his experience, dynamism, and leadership.

He has collaborated with UNCTAD since 2005 to promote and roll out the entrepreneurship development program based on the EMPRETEC methodology; he is a certified trainer in this method and serves as the Director of the EMPRETEC Benin Centre.

He also serves as the Permanent Secretary of Benin’s National Guarantee and Assistance Fund for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, an organization that supports Beninese entrepreneurs by facilitating their access to financing and public procurement contracts.
