Mr. Mauricio Rodríguez Castro

Mauricio is a business leader and entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience in the development and leadership of business initiatives focused on nature-based solutions, the circular economy, reforestation, and carbon markets. He currently serves as Chair of the Board of the Colombian Association of Carbon Market Actors (ASOCARBONO), and is the founder of CO2CERO, ECOLOGIC, and Proyecto Crecer.

He is also a member of the Board of FEDEMADERAS. He has led large-scale restoration and forestry initiatives that have contributed to the planting of more than two million trees and has extensive experience in public-private collaboration and the development of sustainability initiatives.
