Mr. Jonathan Bravo

Jonathan joined IOSCO in 2004 and is the Senior Policy Advisor Accounting, Auditing and Disclosure at the General Secretariat of IOSCO. He also heads both the Finance and the Information Technology Departments.

He is the coordinator for IOSCO’s corporate reporting work focusing on financial and sustainability reporting, auditing and disclosure, including the work of IOSCO´s Committee on Issuer Accounting, Audit and Disclosure (Committee 1), the IOSCO Sustainable Finance Task Force and the IOSCO Finance and Audit Committee.

Jonathan also heads the Secretariat of the Monitoring Board of the IFRS Foundation and is also a member of the Secretariat of the Monitoring Group for international audit-related standards.

Before joining IOSCO, he worked for PWC and coordinated the relocation of IOSCO’s Headquarters to Madrid in 1999-2000 and its establishment as a legal entity in Spain. Jonathan was also involved in the establishment of the Public Interest Oversight Board (PIOB) in Madrid 2005 and he was its first Finance Controller.

Jonathan holds a BSc in Management and Business Administration from the Alfonso X University, Madrid and a Master´s degree in International Finance from MEMFI Business School of Spain.
