BIOGRAPHY

Eng. Suliman Almazroua is the President of the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani), leading the Kingdom’s drive to strengthen its position as a global logistics hub under Saudi Vision 2030. He previously served as CEO of the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP), advancing major initiatives to diversify the economy, strengthen infrastructure, and attract strategic investments across industry, mining, energy, and logistics.

With more than 25 years of experience, Eng. Almazroua has held senior leadership roles at Saudi Aramco, complemented by roles at U.S.-based technology firms Aruba Networks and Caspian Networks. He was Chief Technology Officer at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH), where he led technology transformation initiatives to enhance healthcare operations and patient care. In addition, he served as CEO of the Delivery and Rapid Intervention Center, and contributed to the National Transformation Program, supporting the planning, monitoring, and acceleration of development initiatives, as well as providing technical and administrative support to achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Beyond his executive responsibilities, Eng. Almazroua plays an active role in governance and strategic advisory on many government and private sector boards. He is a board member at the General Authority for Foreign Trade, the Saudi Export Development Authority, and the National Transport Safety Center. On the Board of Marafiq, where he oversees the expansion of water and wastewater networks in new industrial city projects; and on the Board of Taibah Valley, which focuses on innovation and technology-driven ventures. He has also served as an advisor to expert committees at the National Digital Transformation Center, where he championed the adoption of blockchain technology to track maritime shipments and strengthen safety procedures in port operations.

He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Hull (UK) and a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, and has completed executive programs at IMD, Rice University, and Harvard Kennedy School.
