Dr. Tan Xian Chun
BIOGRAPHY
Researcher, Ph.D. Supervisor, Deputy Director of the Carbon Neutrality Strategy Research Center at the Institutes of Science and Development, Chinese Academy of Sciences, long engaged in research on green and low-carbon development strategies and policies. Focusing on China’s “dual carbon” goals, she has conducted systematic research in areas such as carbon emissions control and climate finance, and a number of her policy recommendations have been adopted. She was a visiting scholar at Harvard University and participated as a lead author in the United Nations IPCC climate assessment reports. She is currently committed to developing comprehensive carbon neutrality solutions to provide scientific decision-making support for China’s green transition.
