BIOGRAPHY

Meaghan Beyer is a consultant with the International Labour Organization (ILO), where she works on trade, investment and decent work. Her work focuses on trade and investment policy, investment promotion, employment and skills development, responsible business conduct, and sustainable investment. She supports governments, investment promotion agencies and social partners through research, policy guidance, analytical tools and training materials aimed at strengthening the contribution of trade and foreign direct investment to decent work and sustainable development.     She previously served as a Technical Officer at the ILO and has worked with the World Health Organization, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, and the Permanent Mission of Colombia to the World Trade Organization. She has also held academic roles teaching public international law. Meaghan holds a PhD in Public International Law from the University of Groningen.
