Biography
Clarence Leong, the visionary Founder and CEO of EasyParcel, left a successful career in material-science aerospace engineering in the UK to pursue entrepreneurship in Malaysia. He founded two start-ups before striking gold with EasyParcel in 2014. Identifying the need for a streamlined shipping solution, Leong created EasyParcel, a web-based parcel consolidator and e-commerce shipping provider, allowing customers to book deliveries with multiple couriers at competitive rates. Under his leadership, EasyParcel has grown into a comprehensive e-commerce platform, offering services like parcel insurance, marketing tools, and micro-financing, empowering micro SMEs across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand. Leong's journey has made him an inspiring and a game-changer model in the e-commerce industry.
