As Chief Economist at Qatar Financial Centre (QFC), Kamal Naji leads the Centre’s economic research agenda and contributes to key initiatives supporting the continued development of Qatar’s financial ecosystem.
He oversees macroeconomic research covering key global and regional economic developments, policy trends and matters of public interest. He also leads the development and publication of the QFC Economic Impact Assessment Report, which measures QFC’s contribution to the Qatari economy, and collaborates with the Marketing and Corporate Communications team to advance economic research and thought leadership.
Kamal provides economic insights into global economic conditions, macroeconomic indicators, emerging structural trends and geopolitical developments, assessing their implications for the economy and financial markets.
