Mr. Dushyant Thakor

WAIPA Presidency Deepak Bagla announced on 28 March 2022 the appointment of Dushyant Thakor as Senior Advisor to WAIPA.   Dushyant brings to the position more than two decade of experience in investment promotion & facilitation, ICT & global standards. He has spearheaded flagship national investment promotion & technology initiatives, global IPA capacity building initiatives, global standards development and has been involved in creation of global ICT centers.   He holds a masters degree in international business from The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and a masters in computer applications from the University of Delhi. He has a honors degree in Mathematics from University of Delhi.  Dushyant has been involved in establishment of Invest India and one of the most innovative and dynamic IPAs globally. He has been leading mission-mode projects in India such as Make in India, national land bank and the national single window system. Dushyant has been providing strategic advisory and has been involved with setting up/evolution of various good practice-Subnational IPAs in the country.   Dushyant has been leading Invest India’s projects with multilaterals including with WAIPA. A globally recognized trainer in the space of investment promotion, he has worked in more than 10 countries in developed and developing parts of the world. He has done extensive work and executed various projects on furthering India’s bilateral relations with Africa.
