Biography
Boru Shana is Deputy CEO at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI), Ethiopia. A distinguished development professional, he holds a master’s degree in development studies and brings over a decade of progressive leadership experience in entrepreneurship capacity building, startup and SME development, innovation ecosystem building, and entrepreneurial education. He led the design and implementation of several innovative and disruptive programs that strengthen public and private sector entrepreneurial ecosystems. He is a certified International Master Trainer under the UNCTAD-EMPRETEC Programme and a Master Instructional Systems Designer™, accredited by the American Association for Talent Development (ATD). His work spans across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, with a particular emphasis on entrepreneurship education, Training-of-Trainers (ToT), and strategic program implementation in diverse socio-economic contexts.
