Investing in Art and Civilization

Monday, 26 October 2026 10:15 – 11:00 · Doha time Al Dafna · Doha

Investment extends beyond financial capital, infrastructure and productive assets. Societies also invest in culture, creativity, knowledge, heritage and institutions that shape identity and generate value across generations. At the same time, the cultural and creative economy is becoming increasingly connected to tourism, cities, technology, education, employment and innovation, while the global art market attracts growing interest from collectors, family offices and institutional investors. This high-level dialogue will bring together cultural leaders, investors and market participants to examine how investment in culture and the arts can create lasting economic, social and civilizational value—and how cultural capital can be understood as an investment in the future.
