Prof. Sarianna Lundan
BIOGRAPHY
Professor Sarianna Lundan is the Chair in International Management and Governance at the University of Bremen in Germany. She received her PhD from Rutgers University (US), and has held prior appointments at the University of Reading (UK) and at Maastricht University (The Netherlands). She has also been an Associate Research Fellow at the Research Institute of the Finnish Economy (ETLA), a think-tank focused on economic policy.
Much of Lundan’s work has focused on the interplay between governments, regulatory standards and multinational enterprises. Earlier on, she did some work on trade and commercial policy, as well as foreign direct investment in Japan, and Japanese investment abroad.
Professor Lundan is the first editor-in-chief of the Journal of International Business Policy (JIBP).
In 2018 she was elected a Fellow of the Academy of International Business (AIB) in recognition of her “outstanding contributions to the scientific development of International Business.
