Prof. Lesley Stainbank

Lesley Stainbank, a chartered accountant, is a Professor Emeritus at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a research supervisor at the Durban University of Technology.  She is a past-president of the Southern African Accounting Association. She serves on the Editorial Board of the SA Journal of Accounting Research, and is an Editorial Adviser to Accounting Education: An International Journal. She is also an Associate Editor of Meditari Accountancy Research and on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Accounting in Emerging Economies. Since 2015, she has been the Southern African representative for the African Accounting and Finance Association.
