BIOGRAPHY

Howard Yu is LEGO chair Professor of Management and Innovation as well as the research director of IMD's Center For Future Readiness. He is the author of the award-winning book <a href="https://www.howardyu.org/leap/&quot; target="_blank" rel="noopener"><em>LEAP: How to Thrive in a World Where Everything Can Be Copied</em></a><em>. </em>His work has been featured by <em>CNBC</em>, <em>BBC</em>, <em>Fast Company Magazine</em>, <em>Harvard Business Review</em>, <em>MIT Sloan Management Review</em>, <em>Quartz at Work</em>, <em>MarketWatch</em>, and numerous <a href="https://www.howardyu.org/media/&quot; target="_blank" rel="noopener">international outlets</a>.

<strong>Credentials: </strong>

In 2015, Yu was selected by Poets&amp;Quants as one of “The World’s Top 40 Business Professors Under 40,” and in 2018, he appeared on the Thinkers50 Radar list of 30 management thinkers “most likely to shape the future of how organizations are managed and led.” He has directed customized training programs to leading organizations, including Bosch, LEGO, Maersk, and Electrolux. His firsthand research activities for Asian companies include WeChat, Ant, and Haier. Yu received his doctoral degree from Harvard Business School. Prior to beginning his doctorate, he worked in the banking industry in Hong Kong. He lives in Lausanne, Switzerland.
