Ms. Silvia Sabatini

Silvia Sabatini is a senior statistician, deputy head of the External Statistics Division in the Statistical Analysis Directorate of the Bank of Italy.  She joined the Bank of Italy in 1995 as a statistician; since then she has been dealing with Balance of payments financial account and International investment position data collection and compilation, with special focus on Direct Investment statistics. She is a permanent member of the Working Group on External Statistics of the European Central Bank (ECB) and of the OECD Working Group on International Investment Statistics. She is part of the OECD’s Benchmark Technical Experts Group for updating international guidance on compiling FDI statistics.
