Ms. Martine Valcin

Martine Valcin is Global Manager, Governance / ESG Advisory and Knowledge at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Washington, DC. She is responsible for managing governance-related risks in IFC investments, providing ESG advisory services, managing knowledge for IFC staff and clients on ESG risk management best practices, and finally, for the ESG technology solutions portfolio. She also leads international capacity building initiatives on topics such as non-financial reporting, sustainable finance, governance for small and medium enterprises, and women’s leadership. 

Prior to joining IFC in 2019, Martine served as Senior Director of Responsible Investment at PSP, where she led activities to integrate ESG factors into PSP’s global equity and bond portfolio. Prior to that, until 2016, Martine worked at the Toronto Stock Exchange for 15 years.
