Ms. Lieke Verhofstad

Lieke Verhofstad is a Business Development Manager in Global Food & Agri Networks for Rabobank, a cooperative bank with a mission to accelerate the shift to a sustainable food system. With Rabobank since 2008, Lieke directs efforts towards fostering a future-proof food system. Her expertise spans 'sustainable production' and 'reducing food losses' for emerging markets, including work on a carbon-platform for smallholders and setting up a Rabo Food Loss & Waste Hub and cold chain initiative. As part of the Global Food & Agri Networks team, Lieke collaborates with extensive networks to elevate global agendas and hasten transitions. She holds an MBA in Sustainability and Systemic Change from Nyenrode Business University, along with degrees in International Business Communication and International Marketing.
