Ms. Hend Mahmoud Sabry

Ms. Hend Mahmoud has been working in the FDI Department at GAFI since 2013, where she is a part of the team responsible for compilation of FDI statistics in Egypt.  During this period, Ms. Mahmoud has contributed in many projects supporting the FDI compilation in Egypt including engaging in developing the quarter and annual survey forms aiming to collect data on FDI flows and stocks, collaborating with the IT team in automating the data submission process from the direct investment enterprises both quarterly and annually as well as coordinating with both governmental authorities and international organizations in order to enhance the FDI compilation process.  She is also a member of the Benchmark Definition Technical Expert Group (BTEG) responsible for the update of the OECD Benchmark Definition of Foreign Direct Investment (BD4).  Ms. Mahmoud holds an MBA in International Business from AASTMT and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Ain Shams University in Cairo.
