Ms. Günseli Ünlütürk

Günseli established Sun Tekstil with two other family members in 1987 to fulfill her dreams. Sun Tekstil has successfully grown as a fashion garment exporting company and in 2020, ranked among the biggest 200 hundred companies in Turkey. Sun Tekstil also owns six other companies in garment production, retailing, knitted fabric manufacturing and technical textiles.

Since the establishment of Sun Tekstil, as one of the co-founders, Günseli has served in different positions in the family owned group of companies. She is a board member of Sun Tekstil and the biggest two other group companies. She also served as Chairman of JK Tekstil for more than 20 years, succesfully launching the «Jimmy Key» fashion brand.

Günseli has also worked as an instructor sharing her experiences for the benefit of the fashion retailing industry by contributing to the Department of Textile Design at Dokuz Eylül University between the years of 2001-2003.

Günseli is a board member of Aegean Industrialists and Businessmen Association (ESİAD) and also currently serving on the Board of Directors of Turkey Association of Family Businesses (TAİDER), FBN andTARKEM.

Günseli was born 1957. She graduated metallurgical engineering in 1979 at Middle East Technical University and is currently studying at Marmara University in the field of sociology.
