Ms. Geeta Sethi

Geeta Sethi, Advisor and Global Lead for Food Systems at the World Bank, architects the Food System Transformation agenda, aiming for prosperous, sustainable, and healthy food systems. Over 20 years, she's an experienced economist in fragile, low-, and middle-income countries, focusing on rural development, service delivery, and fiscal policies. Managing the Food Loss and Waste Reduction program, she's delivered lending programs, authored books, and published articles on rural labor markets, trade policy, and fiscal decentralization. Formerly Chief of Staff to the Climate Change Vice President and Special Envoy, and Operations and Strategy Manager for Climate Change, she holds an MBA and a PhD in Economics.
