Ms. Elisa Navarra
BIOGRAPHY
Elisa is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics affiliated to the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and the European Center for Advanced Research in Economics and Statistics (ECARES). She is also a research fellow at the Fund for Scientific Research (F.R.S.-FNRS).
Her research interests are in international trade, focusing on subsidies, political economy of trade, and firm social responsibility.
During the a.y. 2022-23, she worked as Associate Economic Affairs Officer in the Research Section of the Division on Investment & Enterprises (DIAE) at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
Before starting her Ph.D., she studied at Bocconi University, where I completed a BSc and a MSc in Economics and Social Sciences, and at Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain), where she pursued a MRes in Economics.
She is also a member and former organizer of the Graduate Student International Political Economy Workshop, a virtual, interdisciplinary, graduate-student-run workshop aimed at promoting research in International Economics and Political Economy by Political Science and Economics PhD and Post-Doc students.
