Ms. Annika Zawadzki

Annika Zawadzki is a Managing Director & Partner in the Cologne office of The Boston Consulting Group. Annika is the global leader of Climate and Sustainability in BCG’s Travel, Cities and Infrastructure practice area as well as Co-Leader for BCG's private sector and cities activities in Climate Risk, Adaptation and Resilience. She has more than 15 years of experience working with public and private clients on strategies questions. She supports clients with shedding light on their climate risk exposure and vulnerability, developing Adaptation & Resilience strategies to mitigate climate risk and helping to identify and prioritize bankable projects. Some examples of her work include support to an European Ministry to develop a strategy for reconstruction of regions destroyed by severe flood and to respond to climate catastrophes as well as support to the UN High-Level Climate Champions team at COP27 and COP28 in efforts to operationalize the Sharm El Sheikh Adaptation Agenda, especially for land transport infrastructure.
