Mr. Robin Rix

As Chief Legal, Policy, and Markets Officer, Robin leads Verra’s work to ensure the responsible use of Verra’s programs and standards. Robin joined Verra in 2021. He previously worked as a lawyer at Clifford Chance LLP in London. He subsequently worked at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in Bonn. He returned to his hometown of Toronto in 2016 and held roles with the Province of Ontario and the Government of Canada. Robin holds a graduate degree in politics and international relations from the University of Oxford and a Juris Doctor degree in law from the University of Toronto. He is a qualified lawyer in Canada (Ontario) and the United Kingdom (England & Wales).
