Mr. Petr Koblic

Petr Koblic, a graduate of the University of Economics in Prague, started his career in banking in 1993 as a trader in the financial market. In 1997 he was promoted to the position of Deputy Director of the Finance Department. In 1997-1998 he worked at Patria Finance as a sales director. In June 1998, he moved to CA IB Securities where he served as Chairman and CEO. In September 2004, Mr Koblic was elected Chairman and CEO of the Prague Stock Exchange. He is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Central Securities Depository Prague. In February 2007, he was appointed Chairman of Power Exchange Central Europe. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Vienna Stock Exchange. He is also a member of the Supervisory Board of the Central European Gas Hub. In 2018, he was elected President of the European Federation of Exchanges FESE.  During his career, Mr Koblic has been a member of the Board of Directors of AKAT, Chairman of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange and a member of the Board of Directors of the Budapest Stock Exchange.
