Mr. Komla Prosper Bissi
BIOGRAPHY
Mr. Komla Prosper Bissi, an Agricultural Economist, brings over fifteen years of international development experience in agricultural development, policy reforms, agri-business, trade, private sector development, and food loss and waste reduction. Presently, he serves as the Senior Agriculture Adviser to the Secretary General of the African Continental Free Trade Areas Secretariat in Accra, Ghana. Before his role at AfCFTA, Mr. Bissi held various positions at the African Union Commission, including as Head of Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP). He's also an Associate Champion for global food loss and waste reduction (Champion 12.3). He was a Senior Agribusiness Adviser at the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD) in South Africa, leading initiatives such as the Continental Agribusiness Strategy and the African Union Postharvest Management Strategy.
