Mr. Karim Mourad

Karim Mourad is the Global Head of Infrastructure and CIO for the Infrastructure Department at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) and has been at ADIA since 2008. He is responsible for developing and implementing the Department’s investment strategy and overseeing its day-to-day activities, which include the management of ADIA’s existing portfolio of infrastructure investments, as well as the origination and execution of new investments.

Karim has extensive experience in the infrastructure sector, having worked in the United Kingdom at Macquarie Capital and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has also held roles at NatWest Markets and CH2M Hill. Karim is a board member of the Global Infrastructure Investor Association (GIIA) and has served on the boards of directors of various infrastructure assets across different jurisdictions.

Karim has a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Imperial College London and is a CFA Charterholder.
