Mr. Henri Blas

Henri joined the Global Infrastructure Hub in July 2020 as Chief Content Officer. He leads strategy and delivery of initiatives. He is a GI Hub representative at the G20 Infrastructure Working Group and at the G20 Sustainable Finance Working Group. He is also responsible for GI Hub’s online data, research, tools, and products.  

Prior to joining GI Hub, Henri was the Resilience Finance Lead and acting Chief Operating Officer for the Resilient Cities Network – an initiative across 100 cities pioneered by the Rockefeller Foundation. He had previously been leading AECOM infrastructure and economics advisory practice in Asia, advising on asset valuations and sale/acquisitions for Macquarie in North America, and consulting on transport projects across Europe and APAC for Systra. 

During the 2022 G20 Indonesia Presidency, he led the development of the G20/GI Hub Framework on How to Best Leverage Private Sector Participation to Scale Up Sustainable Infrastructure. The Framework - endorsed by the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors in October 2022 – identified key opportunity areas and actions for the G20 and partners, many of those actions relevant both at the sovereign and local levels.
