Mr. Giacomo Barbieri

Giacomo Barbieri is the Head of Operations at the World Farmers' Organisation (WFO), a Rome-based member-based organization comprised of national farmers’ organizations and cooperatives. With a background in economics and business administration, Giacomo brings a wealth of experience to his role as Chief Operating Officer at WFO. As an entrepreneur, he served for over 7 years on the Council of the Chamber of Commerce of Rome. Prior to his current position, Giacomo spent a significant part of his career at Confcommercio, an Italian national merchants' union. His roles included leading teams on SMEs’ financing and internationalization projects, as well as contributing to local policy processes for small enterprises.
