Mr. Gazi AKM Fazlul Haque

Gazi AKM Fazlul Haque is a Director General in Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA). He obtained his graduation and post-graduation degree in Law from University of Dhaka. He was enrolled as an Advocate in Bangladesh Bar Council in 1993 and later he joined the Supreme Court of Bangladesh as a Research and Reference Officer. He switched over to the post of Deputy Director (Law) in Privatization Commission in 1999 and then to Director, BIDA in 2016. He was promoted to the post of Director General (DG), BIDA in 2022. 

He obtained training on Guidance in the Privatization of Public Assets and Regulatory Measures from Interuniversity Institute for Training & Development in Belgium, Private Sector Infrastructure Development from International Development Law Institute in Italy and A Legal Framework for Ease of Doing Business for Foreign Direct Investment Promotion in Japan.

He participated in various International Seminars, Workshops, Symposiums including UNCTAD D-8 workshop on International Investment Policy Reform for Sustainable Development in Istanbul in 2019,
