Mr. Fouad Bajwa
BIOGRAPHY
Fouad Riaz Bajwa is the CEO and Co-founder of Pakistan’s first multistakeholder driven food and climate innovation think tank the Agriculture Republic and its Digital Dera Climate Resilient Smart Villages Network Pakistan. Fouad is a technologist, public policy entrepreneur, agriculture food security systems innovator. He has been engaged with regenerative agriculture, rural Internet connectivity, public policy innovations. He has helped reform public policy through digitization, innovation, and hybrid institutional development, introducing low-cost affordable technologies for inclusion and poverty reduction. He has served as a member of the UN Secretary General’s advisory group from 2009-2012 and consulted/advised various UN bodies. Since 2015, Fouad is an Adjunct faculty member at the Centre for Public Policy and Governance CPPG at Forman Christian College University FCCU. He mentors/advises numerous social and commercial startups with the United Nations, TechStars, Founders Institute, National Incubation Centres and Startup Cup in Pakistan. He has patents in Artificial Intelligence.
