Mr. Carl Larsen

Carl Larsen serves as GFRAS' Executive Secretary, bringing over 20 years of expertise in agricultural education, research, and extension. A Danish senior agricultural expert, Carl's leadership and advisory skills have been honed through multidisciplinary and multicultural teamwork across Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America. With a strong analytical mindset and system thinking, he identifies solutions in challenging situations. His experience spans bilateral (Danida, USAID) and multilateral (CGIAR, EU, FAO, World Bank) partnerships. Carl's dedication, ethical standards, and commitment to change are evident through his goal-oriented approach, from farmers' fields to ministry meetings. He has contributed to institutional and organizational transformations worldwide, anchored in hands-on experience and continuous learning.
