BIOGRAPHY

H.E. Prof. Ibrahim Adam Ahmed El-Dukheri is a prominent figure in Agricultural Economics. Graduating with honors in general agriculture from the University of Khartoum in 1983, he pursued an M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics at Washington State University in 1987. In 1997, he earned his Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics, specializing in system analysis and mathematical approaches, from the Technical University of Munich. Prof. El-Dukheri's illustrious career includes key roles such as Federal Minister of Agriculture and Forestry in Sudan, Director General of the Agricultural Research Corporation, and Minister of Agriculture and Forests in South Darfur State. He has made substantial contributions to food security, serving as a Food Security Advisor, Project Manager for the EU-funded Kordofan Food Security Project, and as a National VAM Officer with the World Food Programme. As Director-General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development, he continues to shape the field with expertise and dedication.
