H.E. Mrs. Lorena Konanz

Lorena Konanz Baquerizo - Vice Minister of Promotion of Exports and Investments

She is an Ecuadorian economist graduated from the University of Texas in Austin, United States, with a Major in Business Administration. She has held positions in the private sector and has been part of projects that seek to empower women.

She also has a Diploma in Corporate Governance and Senior Management at the IDE Business School in Guayaquil and is currently studying a Diploma in Politics, Economics and Philosophy at the University of the Americas - UDLA in Quito.

In recent years, she has been part of the Advisory Council of the Free Ecuador Foundation and other organizations that defend the ideas of freedom. Additionally she is an expert in business, economic and financial issues.

She has also collaborated as a columnist for renowned Ecuadorian newspapers such as El Universo, El Telégrafo and La República.
