H.E. Mr. Yerlan Baidaulet

H.E. Yerlan Baidaulet boasts a distinguished career in international finance and academia. Holding an MBA in Banking & Finance from the University KIMEP, a Postgraduate certificate from St. Gallen University, and a PhD in Political Economy, his academic foundation is robust. Baidaulet's career encompasses key roles in Kazakhstan's Ministry of Investments and Development, Eurasian Development Bank, and the IDB Group. An influential figure in Islamic finance, he chaired the Association for Islamic Finance Development and received the Global Islamic Finance Special Prize in 2015. With publications on Islamic finance and two authored books, Baidaulet is also recognized for his contributions to academia. He holds academic titles, including Professor and Honorary Professor. Currently, he serves as Director General of the Islamic Organization for Food Security by OIC, headquartered in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan
