Dr. Dorothea Schütz

Dr. Dorothea Schütz is currently Deputy Director-General at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. In this role, she is responsible for Germany's trade relations with North Africa and the Middle East, as well as Germany's trade fair and development policy. Throughout her long career, Dr. Schütz has held various leadership positions at the Federal Chancellery, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, and the OECD. She holds a doctorate in economics and has more than three decades of experience in shaping economic and international policy at both the national and international levels.
