Dr. Amelia U. Santos-Paulino

Dr. Amelia U. Santos-Paulino is an economist with over 20 years of experience in international development, trade and investment policy, and macroeconomic research. She has formerly held full-time positions at UNU-WIDER and the University of Sussex. She was a Senior Economist at the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic and Senior Advisor to the Dominican Republic’s government in the US-DR-CAFTA negotiations. She also held full-time and visiting posts at prestigious academic institutions worldwide. Her research is published in renowned journals such as the Economic Journal, and edited books. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Kent in the UK, and executive education on leadership from Harvard University.
