The Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE) Executive Dialogue brings together stock exchange leaders, securities regulators, investors, issuers, policymakers, and international organizations to discuss how capital markets can advance sustainable finance and sustainable development. The Executive Dialogue will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences and explore practical approaches to strengthening capital markets across the region and beyond. Discussions will cover corporate sustainability disclosure, climate-related reporting, sustainable finance products, market education, and regulatory frameworks. The Executive Dialogue will provide a platform for sharing good practices, fostering collaboration, and highlighting the role of stock exchanges in supporting resilient, transparent, and sustainable capital markets. Launched in 2009 by the UN Secretary-General and organized by UNCTAD, the UN Global Compact, UNEP, and the Principles for Responsible Investment, the SSE initiative provides a global platform to promote collaboration among exchanges and other key actors to strengthen sustainable business practices and support sustainable investment, including financing the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The Executive Dialogue offers a unique opportunity for capital market leaders to showcase contributions to the SDGs and shape the global sustainable finance agenda.
