This session will explore the latest global trends in sustainability reporting policy and regulatory developments and discuss the consequences for listed companies. The session will have a special focus on small and mid-sized companies around the world, which may fall directly in the scope of new sustainability reporting rules or be affected indirectly as members of global value chains.

The session will conclude with a conversation on how GRI and SSE can support stock exchanges, investors, rating agencies and listed companies prepare for this new level of transparency. The discussion is relevant for the broader investment community and its stakeholders.

  • What are the latest global policy developments regarding reporting requirements for listed companies?
  • What are the main implications for listed companies; both direct and/or as suppliers to larger companies affected by new requirements?
