Climate change, biodiversity loss and environmental degradation are increasingly shaping investment decisions and development prospects worldwide. Meeting these interconnected challenges will require a major shift in capital towards resilient infrastructure, clean technologies, ecosystem restoration and nature-positive business models, particularly in developing and vulnerable economies. This plenary will explore how governments, investors, development institutions and businesses can harness partnerships, investment policies and financing instruments to mobilize finance at scale, reduce investment risks and ensure that climate and nature action supports jobs, livelihoods and sustainable development. Taking place on the road to COP31, the discussion will consider how investment partnerships can help translate international commitments into tangible projects and measurable results.
